BIOGRAPHY

Dr. William I. Han graduated from Seoul National University , Medical College in 1975 with a Degree in Bachelor of Medicine. He finished rotating his internship shortly after at the Seoul National University Hospital .

In Chicago , IL , he had surgical training at Saint Joseph Hospital . After, he went to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh , PA , which is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh for Ob-Gyn training. He is board certified in specialty of Ob-Gyn and fellow in the American College of Ob-Gyn

Dr. Han is a former chairman of the Department of Ob-Gyn at Huntington Beach Hospital . He currently serves as an active staff member at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and Hoag Presbyterian Hospital in Newport Beach , CA. Dr. Han is currently practicing general Gynecology and Female Pelvic Surgery with a special emphasis on Female Urogyneocology. He is also working closely with Dr. Samimi with his new invented techniques and ideas such as Nerve Sparing technique, Outpatient Burch-Sling Urethropexy for correction of anatomical stress urinary incontinence, and Intrastromal Nerve Sparing Abdominal Hysterectomy and early detection of breast cancer using VENUS method.
